OUR MISSION

The mission of the International Institute of SPORT (IIOS) is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in the less economically developed countries worldwide.

WHO WE ARE

We are a non-profit advocating for the disabled in areas of public access, education, integration, job skills, physical rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation and disaster relief. We are educators, artists, administrators and professionals. We are also networkers and are grateful for our partners.

WHAT WE DO

We engage children and adults in art projects geared to developing an understanding of disability. We help rehabilitate and train disabled athletes for the Paralympics. We help disabled people become employees and business owners. We provide art supplies, medical supplies and mobility devices. We represent disabled artists in the world art market. We advocate for the disabled in business and government affairs to help secure access to jobs and transportation.

Chris Campasano - Director of Soccer Operations

Chris Campasano has more than 15 years experience as an entrepreneur and has worked extensively in the world of sport, most specifically soccer. He was instrumental in the creation of several online educational and social portals for soccer players and coaches, including being a key member in the development of Keeper-Skool.com, one of the leading online resources for goalkeeper development.

Chris has numerous relationships in the sport, working with a close network of soccer professionals in every level of the game worldwide, including close ties with Major League Soccer, United Soccer Leagues, North American Soccer League and various teams within these leagues and others around the world.

He partnered with Dr. Sakiewicz in the development of the Texas Pro Soccer Festival, the 1st four team MLS training camp and pre-season tournament held in San Antonio, TX in 2008. Chris was instrumental in the creation and promotion of various pre-season and exhibition matches, on both the International and Major League Soccer level. He and Dr. Sakiewicz are planning two events in 2011 in both San Antonio, TX and Phoenix, AZ. Chris is a board member of SAMYS (San Antonio Metropolitan Youth Soccer Institute), a non-profit charity that develops quality soccer fields in the San Antonio Metro area. Campasano is also a Managing Partner in Phx Pro Soccer and SA Pro Soccer, which are both the organizations behind the plan to bring professional soccer franchise to both markets.

Chris is also the President of PrintConcepts,a boutique online marketing, graphic and web design agency based in Phoenix and Founder and Managing Partner of Upper 90 Sports, a consulting company that specializes in working with clients in the sport/soccer industry.

Chris not only brings a wealth of soccer knowledge to IIOS, he will be assisting the Institute in various roles, including Operations, Marketing, Branding, and Sponsorship / Charitable Giving.
